Hayloft Ice Cream is Lancaster’s new ice cream parlor, located just west of New Holland in Leola, PA. We offer delicious homemade ice cream flavors, soft pretzels, and other treats.
The ducks and fish can be fed at the nearby pond, and children love playing on the beautiful new playground. Our spacious deck and a pavilion by the playground provide shade and shelter for outdoor seating. We invite you to come and see the unique interior of the building representing the boys’ camp we are working for.
All proceeds go to support the work of Allegany Boys Camp, a year-round residential wilderness camp for boys ages 9-16 who are struggling in their homes and at school. You can support the work of the camp through your purchase of ice cream, soft pretzels, and other treats. More information about the camp is available at www.alleganyboyscamp.org.
A camper wrote,
“In the past year I have learned a lot at camp. Standing in a circle, after you see yourself or someone that has a problem that needs solved you gather together to help solve the problem.
But I’ll be honest with you, when you see the person is being stubborn and that they don’t want your help at all, you start to feel inside, why waste my time on them. It only takes time, experience, and some thinking. And then you’ll look back and say, my time was worth it just to help them and see them make progress in their life.
Because God didn’t give you life to waste time only on the things that are all about yourself. He put you here to help other people in their hard times in life, and to invest your time to help them make the progress they need. These are some of the things I have learned about simply solving problems through my everyday life at camp.”

From fresh salads to homemade pretzels and lots of ice cream and Italian ice options to choose from, this place is so yummy! Great trip to come with the kids with the pond and play area outside.
We were thrilled to learn that the workers were volunteers & the proceeds benefit The Allegany Boys Camp. Our hot fudge sundaes were delicious. I bought some cinnamon honey butter, one for myself and one as a gift. We'll definitely go again! ❤
Black Raspberry cone was delicious! They have a shaded patio where you can enjoy your treat. Plenty of parking.
They have awesome food and are a non-profit benefiting Alleghany Boys Camp! Amazing atmosphere and wonderful volunteers. I can't recommend them enough!
